Derek joined BY&S in June 2018, bringing with him extensive experience in both public accounting and internal accounting roles. He plays a crucial role in the company’s training initiatives at the Charlotte, NC office, manages several field examiners, and is actively involved in numerous Quality of Earnings projects.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Wingate University. In his leisure time, Derek finds enjoyment in camping, playing lacrosse, golfing, and exploring specialty coffee.
